When Ephrata’s Micaela Sensenig threw up a block midway through the first set posting the Mountaineers to a 13-11 lead, you couldn’t blame Cocalico, especially the seniors, for harkening back to previous matches against the Mounts.
Maybe that should be previous nightmares.
If there was a singular takeaway from Saturday afternoon’s Ephrata-Cedar Crest boys’ soccer match, it would be this: Everybody’s gotta start somewhere.
Finishing is another matter, in every sense of the word.
The Ephrata Mounts Golf team continued their climb towards third place in Section 1, following their second straight 4 win - 2 loss match. Nick Hatch lead the way for the fifth place Mounts, who find themselves only two wins behind third place.
Thirty years. If you keep your eyes open, you see a lot of stuff in 30 years.
But what I witnessed Friday night, was something I've never seen before.
