Mounts continue climb

The Ephrata Mounts Golf team continued their climb towards third place in Section 1, following their second straight 4 win - 2 loss match. Nick Hatch lead the way for the fifth place Mounts, who find themselves only two wins behind third place.

Manheim Township scored a 309 at the par-70 Overlook Golf Course last night, easily out-stroking Penn Manor (334). It's been the case all season so far as Township (24-0) has won all four matches scoring an average of 30 strokes less than their closest competitor.

Individually Manheim Township's Ryan Dornes led all golfers with a 75, Chris North (MT) and Ephrata's Nick Hatch finished tied for second with a 77. Will Dunn (MT, 78), Evan Dissinger (CC, 78), Peter Chieppor (MT, 79), and Tim Bomberger (CC, 79) rounded out the sub-80 scoring golfers.
