- 20 March 2006
Three of the top five finishers in the girls' singles competition of the state High School Bowling Championships came from Ephrata, which has a herd of thoroughbred bowlers.
Samantha Santoro, who was the Lancaster-Lebanon League singles champion, finished second, Chelsea Weik finished third and Ashlee Eberhart finished fifth. The threesome will receive medals today at Rocky Springs Lanes, following the team competitions.
