Mounts impressive at Sunset


ImageThe Ephrata Mounts Golf team remained one game out of second place with a strong showing in the Section Two match played at the Sunset Golf Course. Matt Woolley fired a season low 79, and Ryan Contres returned to the Mounts lineup with a 78, helping lead the Mounts to an overall team 417 score, equalling Cocalico's score while trailing Lampeter Stasburg by 12 strokes. The Mounts finished ahead of Manheim Central (437), Garden Spot (448), Lebanon (455) and E-town (463).

Other Mounts figuring in the scoring were Dan Slotcavage (83), Willie Helander (88), and Eric Beamesderfer (89).

The Mounts are back in action Tuesday September 4th at the Lebanon Country Club.
