Mounts blank Solanco

The Ephrata girls volleyball team earned a three-game sweep of host Solanco Tuesday on the opening night of L-L League play.The Lady Mounts scored wins of 25-18, 25-23 and 25-18 to capture their first win of the season and first section victory.
Leading the way for Ephrata was Brittany Nice, who collected 11 kills. Stephanie Goshert chipped in with five blocks while Linda Wilson added a pair of aces in the win.
