Forfeits hurt Mounts at E-town

ImageThe Ephrata Mounts Wrestling team had a long row to hoe this weekend heading into the Elizabethtown duals. The Mounts forfieted five weight classes (103, 112, 125, 152 and 160) in four matches and four weight classes in their fifth match (not 152) leaving the Mounts with a huge hole to climb out of.

It was a hole that, unfortunately, was just too deep, the Mounts lost all five matches; losing to Selinsgrove 24-58, Elizabethtown 33-40, Columbia 18-51, McCaskey 21-48, and Cocalico 18-48.

A couple of individuals had strong performances led by Blake Crowther (140) who went 4-1 on the day, including two pins. Zach Zimmerman (215) went 3-1 recording three falls. James Zimmerman (275) also went 4-1.
