 Ephrata will have a pair of representatives at the PA State Bowling Championships March 13-14 at the ABC Lances in Harrisburg.
Sophomore Christina Leid and junior Justin Eberhart both qualified for States with impressive performances at the Eastern PA Regional Championships held this past weekend at Jordan Lanes in Allentown.

 At the start of the 2008-09 indoor track & field season, EHS senior Katie Ream had but one goal on her mind. That was to take it back to Penn State University for a second chance at competing at the indoor state track & field championships. The qualification came early as she cleared the required height of 5 feet 2 inches in a meet at F&M College back in December.

 Sometimes, you can discover your talents when you least expect it.
That was the case for Ephrata junior Jes Crills, who realized she was a good shot two years ago while on a retreat with her youth group.

Ephrata's Justin Eberhart this close to an L-L League bowling title.
And while he replays in his mind the excruciating experience of Monday's 10th frame in the step-ladder finals vs. Cedar Crest's Kyle Hoffman, the Ephrata junior can take solace that he did finish second in the league and punched his ticket to Districts in the process.
