2016 Dodgeball Schedules now Ready


Pool play times are now available! There are mandatory meeting times for all circuits on the schedule. All matches will be played at the Ephrata Senior High School.

Once again, all teams playing in the pools on Friday night and Saturday, will be seeded and advance to the single elimination tournament which will be held on Saturday afternoon.

2016 Dodgeball Registration Packets Now Ready for Consumption


Now available for download are entry forms and rules for the 2016 Thirteenth Anniversary tournament to be held at the Ephrata Senior High School. In a few days, entry forms should be available from Mr. Geyer (Room 129, High School) and Mr. Souder (PE Locker Room Office, Middle/Intermediate School).

This year's tournament will once again be sponsored in part by www.ephratamounts.com and the Ephrata Basketball Booster Club.

The tournament is scheduled to be played on November 11th and 12th.

There will once again be three divisions, the age requirements for each division are as follows: Rookie (5th and 6th grades only), Junior Circuit (7th and 8th grades only), and the Senior Circuit (9th through 12th grades only).

Mounts sign D-1 commitments


When avid sportsman Dan Potts suggested his teenage daughters Alexa and Karly try out for the Ephrata High School rifle team, the twins didn’t exactly jump at the chance.

“They went kicking and screaming and thought this was the biggest redneck sport known to man,” Dan Potts said. “I told them to give it a try for a week, and if they didn’t like it, they could quit.

Mounts attend National Signing Day


Wednesday was National Signing Day for high school seniors and some of our own Mounts got in on the action.

Many had long since made their decisions about where they plan to continue their educational and athletic pursuits. But Signing Day is a ceremonial moment, one that comes with more pomp and circumstance each year.
